It is my fifth day working in Goonellabah Public. Working in a school as teacher assistant at first and always seems boring, unrelated to my future career and troublesome when dealing with problematic kids. But sooner or later I found out that the fastest way to improve your standard is to immerse in an English-speaking environment and have chances to talk. I remembered that when I first arrived at the school, I didn't even know how to interact with children who speak quick English. I asked for a lot of "Pardon" especially when I faced many different accents. But now I am getting used of it, trying to increase my speed of speaking. I did expect administrative work in because that gave me something to write in my CV. I am not very fond of being a teacher in the future, especially serving those young children. However, I don't think there is much office work for me to touch as everyone has his or her own position which is already enough to fill the tasks in school.
Tonight Wright called again to confirm my purchase of temporary internet in Australia. I contemplated for a long time because I only got the idea of getting an internet access when necessary is important. Finally I chose to have one because I need internet esp. when I am travelling and staying in Chu Baba's house. Hope it's worthwhile after I made this decision. (although I know my family also prefers that so that I can send email back to home nearly everyday=-=)
