I woke up a little bit late in this morning, still dreaming of
being defrauded of $10 for having 3 fish balls.-_-”
30 minutes later, fish balls left.
I took a bag of sandwiches prepared by the maid,
proudly saying goodbye to my gramdmother. (finally)
I haven't chosen some fancy clothes.
Instead, I just picked up a yellow shirt and the short I frequently wear.
Maybe this causual look appropriately demonstrates
my view towards entering PolyU.
I was calm with the level of excitement slightly dropped.
After meeting the so called "peer mentor",
we have been led to an unknown auditorium for talks.
The president of our faculty descibed PolyU graduates as
"practical dreamers".
It exactly meets the motto of our school.
So I am studying practical English, which is intrinsically
very different from the other universities.
A series of "story of success" including that of Yue Yuet Mei
bombarded us in the upcoming hours.
Apart from hearing those herangues from professors,
the girl who was wearing thick glasses and
reading English books all the time also gave her opinions
about her in-depth knowledge in Kam Yung's fictions.
Stop please! I found her extra vexing and unbearable!!
It follows up by the performance of Taekwondo team.
Many members failed to kick those wooden plates.
We treated it as a kind of comedy actually.
Two groupmates who were preparing for their hea lives in Poly left
much earlier before the serving of free lunch.
I met a girl from mainland but she had studied
in Australia for few years.
When I asked if the tuition fee there was expensive,
she simply told me that it was ONLY around 120000 a year...
I grabbed the chance of practising Putinghua with her.
But what's the most unforgettable thing is she taught me
Chinese foul language!!
I consumed total 3 sandwiches during the lunchtime.
I prefered tuna fish when only fresh tomato and tuna were available.
Yummy when I am running out of energy.
Finally I met the fellow students of the department of English.
Most of them spoke very fluent English with foreign intonation.
Oh God...Fighting the mainlanders and foreigners down
becomes difficult but I am not planning to give up!!!
Make progress!! Work harder!!!
Here comes the refreshment and my classmates.
* I braided my hair by using 1 minute this morning.
It was a graceful try XD!
Back to home with loads of information leaflets...
I found my fitness report on the ePortfolio which is definitely
a freaky creation from PolyU aiming to push students forward.
How come I am considered as fat!
Prominently these results are no more than satisfying...
